Thanks for this Ed! We had not seen it. I’ll share with my sister and Caroline (our daughter in scotland) too. I’m sure they’ll have some more to add to this story. I love seeing the judges when they genuinely are moved and enjoy something too.
We also love Robbie Williams! There’s not many who can upstage Sir Paul, but he was in danger of doing that! We were in the UK watching the concert in Hyde park on TV and all from my mum to the girls loved the whole concert but Robbie particularly was the highlight. He also stopped to help my mum one day!! She lived on the beach at Shoreham and had walked down to the beach and on the way back sat on a stone wall to catch her breath. He was walking a jack Russell dog and stopped to ask if she was ok and needed help. As if she didn’t already love him enough! Lots of the stars had taken to living there at the time … Paul McCartney lived with the nut he was married to briefly and Zoe ball and fat boy slim had a studio on the beach (the other side of the power station! They’re divorced now.). Dave Gilmore lives close by too. Loads of the rock stars live or used to, in the area. My brother in law ran into Brian May in the wine store, but they’re in haywards heath, Sussex
Gotta go as we are in Cortina to catch some of the winter Olympics and today’s our last day.
Thanks again for sending this. We loved it.
