Rye Rye: Boom Boom

Known as the Voice of Baltimore, rapper/dancer Rye Rye may be a lot more familiar to the rest of the world by week’s end. Her new single, “Boom Boom” will be released this Tuesday and it has the sound of a dance floor hit.
The song samples the chorus hook from Dutch Eurodance group Vengaboys’ 1999 hit “Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom”, which was top 10 all over the world except the US (#84). But Rye Rye’s rap verses take it more into Nicki Minaj territory. I think this one’s gonna be big.

See that group of 2-4 people standing at the cross walk at midday? They’re most likely waiting to risk their lives to strike the iconic pose.
