I use the GD archive frequently. Sometimes listening to what ever is featured on the home page that day; sometimes picking one of my known favorites, sometimes searching by date and song title for something “new”. I especially like hearing how the approach or arrangement of a particular song changes year after year. I guess it takes a Deadhead to be interested in that.

Yeah, and I can’t think of another band that inspires that level of catalogue exploration. I’m glad a band so unique existed.

I listen to it a lot myself. When I’m working late at night, I pull down a concert and let it stream. Sets a good vibe.
