    No, I’ve never heard 4’33. Or heard of it.
    But I snobbishly thought the first thing about the T-shirts a lot at the Fair Thee Well concerts in Chicago this past summer. (Which is why I snobbishly wore the oldest Dead shirt I had.)

      Do look up John Cage’s piece of “music” by that name. You can even find performances of it on YouTube I think. It’s the ULTIMATE tribute to musical snobbery.

    I will look it up. Can’t say I have any John Cage tunes bopping in my head.
    On the other hand, have I already told you this one… ? (I prolly have.)
    “How many hipsters does it take to screw in a lightbulb?”
