No, I’ve never heard 4’33. Or heard of it.
But I snobbishly thought the first thing about the T-shirts a lot at the Fair Thee Well concerts in Chicago this past summer. (Which is why I snobbishly wore the oldest Dead shirt I had.)

Do look up John Cage’s piece of “music” by that name. You can even find performances of it on YouTube I think. It’s the ULTIMATE tribute to musical snobbery.
